Purpose
The purpose of a business visitation program, as part of CEDA’s “First Stop” mission is to deliver resources and services to businesses through on-site visits. The visits provide an informative platform for facility tours and descriptive explanations of business plans and goals.
CEDA is able to visit your business at any time, and can include other service providers such as Empire State Development, SBA, NYSERDA and NYSEG*. CEDA also includes local municipalities such as the City of Auburn or towns in the visitation process.
Benefits
A business visit can be the start of many positive benefits that include access to services such as education and job training or loan programs that can supplement or guarantee your financing plans.
CEDA can discuss IDA benefits that can reduce certain taxes incurred during capital or construction projects. Impartial site selection services are available on the CEDA web site and through requests for space or property. If your business seeks to either strengthen continuing operations, expand or recruit suppliers and subsidiaries then CEDA can offer a broad range of incentives to consider.
Outcomes
Once you have identified specific services and resources then CEDA will take the steps to work with you to apply and secure eligible services.
