Under contract with Cayuga County, the CEDA “First Stop” will be the lead point of contact for businesses seeking to locate and grow within Cayuga County.
First Stop coordination through CEDA will provide a single source to market and deploy financial assistance available from Cayuga County, the City of Auburn, the County and City IDAs, the Cayuga County and City of Auburn municipal planning and economic development departments and support teams, the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce, Cayuga County Community College, Cayuga Onondoga BOCES and Wells College.
In the spirit of the “First Stop” principle, CEDA has been located in the Stardust Foundation Building on Two State Street in Auburn working alongside the Stardust Entrepreneurial Institute and since February of 2011, co-located with the Cayuga Chamber of Commerce, SCORE and New York State SBDC. This unique alliance provides “One Stop” business assistance to any business or start-up. It is hoped that other economic development and educational organizations will be working here as well.
