The Cayuga Economic Development Agency (CEDA) is a private sector, 501(c) 3 Local Development Corporation established to implement a focused “One Stop” comprehensive economic development strategy for all of Cayuga County, New York.
One Stop coordination through CEDA provides businesses of all sizes with a single source of information about economic and business development services. We can help you to identify local incentives, programs, and financing assistance that will support your business on its road to success.
In the spirit of the “One Stop” principle, CEDA is located in the Stardust Foundation Building at Two State Street in Auburn alongside the Stardust Entrepreneurial Institute, the Cayuga Chamber of Commerce, SCORE and New York State SBDC. CEDA is also located within a few blocks of and works closely with the Cayuga County and City of Auburn offices for planning and economic development. Furthermore, CEDA has administration contracts with Cayuga County and the Cayuga County Industrial Development Agency. This unique alliance can truly provide “One Stop” assistance to any business or start-up.
CEDA is led by a 15-member board of directors. The majority of board members represent the private business and development sectors in Cayuga County, while the rest are key members of the City and County governments, the Chamber of Commerce and the County’s two Industrial Development Authorities.
